Life has been on “Pause” for the past two months.  Time to hit “Play.” Finally home after a two month deployment.  Lots to do.  Kicked off this past weekend getting situated and packing back in to my apartment.  I finally got around to ordering an iphone 4 and an ipad so looking forward to getting those in the mail here in the coming weeks.   Jack Johnson and John Mayer concerts to look forward to this coming weekend. Motorcycle Safety Course to get my endorsement/license the weekend after that. Getting my eyes fixed - tentatively, in early August.  We’ll see if I’m eligible or not for the surgery.  Already have appointments setup with Portsmouth Naval Medical Center…..my eyes are pretty bad. VEGAS trip scheduled tentatively for mid-August with two of the best friends from the Academy.   Back Underway in September.  Two month window to watch my life until we pause it once again. Just realized this is my 100th post.  Cool! haha

Homeward Bound

Currently in Key West, Florida.  Talk about a town, this place gets W I L D.  Should be home here shortly though, probably the busiest patrol yet.  We stopped 4 seperate go-fasts, interdicted $100,000 in drug related trafficking money, discovered a hidden compartment laden full of cocaine onboard a Colombian fishing boat, helped out in the successful search and rescue case involving two navy sailors, handed off some bad guys to a few DEA & FBI agents, and got fully qualified onboard. 

Busy, busy, busy - the way it should be.  It’s been a long two months and I am ready to get home to relax for a bit. 

I hope everyone is enjoying the 3-day weekend, we’ll be off the coast enjoying the fireworks shows from afar.  Home, here we come!
